I'm E. R. Brown. My friends call me Eric. I write fiction and creative non-fiction. My novel, Almost Criminal, was a finalist for an Edgar award and an Arthur Ellis award, was named a Book of the Year by the 49th Shelf review site, and was translated into Japanese. My short stories have been published in national magazines, from Prairie Fire to Mystery Weekly. One was dramatized by the CBC.
